Tackle Your TBR Wrap Up

I didn't really read as much as I wanted. I did read the 5 books I had in my goals but I didn't read much in the last few days. I am disappointing that last few days I haven't been reading much.  It was I was busy with other things and I was sick and really didn't feel like reading much.  I did read over 100 pages yesterday.

#TackleTBR Day 13 Update for September 26th

I am so disappointed .  I only read 20 pages yesterday .  I have been sick and didn't really feel like reading much So during this read-a-thon I have only read 5 books in the 2 weeks.  Sure I have read the amount of books I had picked for my goal but  because of being busy and then being sick I wasn't able to read the 100 pages per day every day.       Today is the last day and yes I am still sick but I will be reading 100 pages.  So far I have read 30 pages this morning so I should be able to have 100 pages read by bed time.

On tour with Prism Book Tours . Tour Grand Finale for Earthman Jack vs. The Secret Army By Matthew Kadish If you missed any of the fabulous guest posts, interviews, or excerpts for this tour, go back and check them out now! Launch - Interview Q: What is the Earthman Jack Space Saga? My elevator pitch for the series is basically “Harry Potter meets Star Wars.” It’s about a fifteen year old kid from Ohio named Jack who one day suddenly finds himself at the epicenter of an intergalactic conflict between a benevolent Galactic Empire and an army of evil aliens called Deathlords. Jack is a bit of a slacker and an underachiever, but through the course of his adventure, he learns to be the hero the universe needs. Essentially, the Earthman Jack Space Saga is my love-letter to all the sci-fi I grew up geeking out over. Coffee Books & Art - Excerpt And though one would think Jack would be safe now that he’s entering into Princess Glorianna’s realm, nothing...

I am really not doing so great.  This is 2 days in a row that I barely even read anything.   I just haven't been in the mood to read much and on top of that we have been busy marathoning some shows that I have to review on my other blog. Not sure if I will be doing much reading today and tomorrow.  Today I have a lot to do and tomorrow we are going to go get our game that we pre-ordered and will most likely be playing that all of Sunday.

Jem and the Holograms: Showtime by Kelly Thompson *Review*

Image
*I received a ecopy of this book for my honest review* Meet Jerrica Benton - a girl with a secret. She and her sister Kimber team with two friends to become... JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS! But what does it mean to be JEM today? Fashion, art, action, and style collide in Jem and the Holograms: Showtime! MY THOUGHTS Yes I was a fan of Jem And The Holograms when I was a child so I was super excited to see this made into a comic book.  I am so happy at how it turned out. The story is modern and fun and I like that some of the characters are more true to real life people's body types.   It is Truly truly Outrageously awesome!! I hope there are more Jem comic books.   I give this 4 out of 5.

Saved By the Bell by Joelle Sellner, Chynna Clugston Flores, Tim Fish *Review*

Image
*Received a ecopy of this for my honest review* The classic TV series gets an update for today’s brand new high-schoolers as the coolest kids at Bayside High start their freshman year!   All your favorite characters – Zack, Slater, Kelly, Lisa, Screech and Jessie (and Mr. Belding, of course!) – are starting freshman year at Bayside High, trading in brick phones and mullets for iPhones and Twitter accounts. Does Lisa’s fashion show get on the air, and will Screech ever leave her alone? Will Jessie get that A+? And, most importantly, who’s Kelly going to go out with – preppy Zack or new star athlete A.C. Slater? It’s alright, ‘cause we’re saved by the bell! MY THOUGHTS I used to watch Saved By The Bell back in the day so when I saw the comic book I just had to read it and review it. It is pretty good. The illustrations are good and the story is good.  It is updated and I could really imagine all the characters like they were on the show. It sure broug...
