2015 Bookish Goals Update

Back in December I wrote a blog post on my 2015 bookish goals.  I was so excited and I was thinking to myself I could do those goals no problem.   RIGHHHTTT!!!!   So far it hasn't been going as well as I expected .

I was going to put my GoodReads goal for 2015 at 175 books to read but instead for some reason I only put it at 170.  I have no clue why but I did.  I am doing ok in this goal.  As I am writing this , I have read 91 books of 170 so far this year.  Not so bad but I am not doing as well as last year but we have had a lot of company stay over this year so I haven't been reading as much as I thought I would.

Read more books from my TBR pile.  Well, I did read more of them but most were books on my Kindle.  I do plan on reading more of my physical books.  So far from my Kindle books and my physical books I have read 18 books in total.

I was planning on doing a TBR pile of shame post but so far I haven't had the chance to do that because I have so many books on my bookshelves that I have not yet read and I believe it would be a pain to do since I have over 130 physical books and thousands of ebooks in my TBR pile. I do have a few special posts ideas I want to do in the future so keep an eye on those.

I wanted to read more classics.  So far that hasn't happened. I do have a few on my Kindle and hopefully I will have the chance to read one or two in the next few months but I don't have my hopes up because I do have many books to read and review for the next 4 months.

I have been doing book hauls most months.

My last goal was not to buy so many physical books. I have bought quite a few this year but not as many as last year so I am doing good with that. Plus I have given away over 30 books this year so I have more room on my bookshelves.

Did you make bookish goals for yourself for 2015?  If so are they going well?
